Open Settings → Location & calculation and choose the calculation method used in your country, and the Asr time that follows your madhab. Small differences of a few minutes are normal between methods and timetables.

Moon sighting differs by region. Adjust the Hijri date by a day in Settings → My namaz times.

Open Settings → My namaz times and tap a prayer. Pray at azan, a set number of minutes after it, before the window ends, or at a fixed time. Pair mode lets you pray Zuhr at the end of its time and Asr as soon as it begins.

Times when salah is disliked: just after sunrise, at zawal (midday) and around sunset. They show in the timetable on Today and in the calendar.

• Allow notifications for Namaz Planner in your phone's Settings.
• Check that a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode isn't silencing them.
• Open the app every few days. Phones limit how many alerts an app can schedule, so the app sets up the next few days each time you open it.
• Use Settings → Send a test alert to check alerts work.

Every feature is free, and a small banner ad supports the app. It never shows on the qibla screen or during the pair-mode countdown.
